PAUL BIRCH
Perverting the Course of Justice
That
Paul Birch, a company director of Foxberry Garages and Helical Gearboxes in
Brockley, South London, on days between 01 January 2010 and 25 September 2013,
with intent to pervert the course of public justice, did a series of acts which
had a tendency to pervert the course of public justice in that he:

conspired
with police officers [customers of his garage] against Brian Pead
2
attended
Bexleyheath Magistrates’ Court on 01 November 2011 and gave false evidence to
the Court
3
attended
Bexleyheath Magistrates’ Court on 01 November 2011 and perjured himself
4
provided
false information to the police
5
provided
false witness statements to the police
6
conspired
with others to abuse their position of trust, and falsely imprison Mr Brian
Pead
7
conspired
with others to harass Brian Pead
Harassment
That
Paul Birch, a company director of Foxberry Garages and Helical Gearboxes in
Brockley, South London, on days between 01 January 2008 and 25 September 2013,
did pursue a course of conduct amounting to the harassment of Brian Pead and
did cause him alarm and distress contrary to the Protection from Harassment Act
1997.
Fraud by failing to disclose
information
That
Paul Birch, a company director of Foxberry Garages and Helical Gearboxes in
Brockley, South London, on days between 01 January 2010 and 25 September 2013
did commit fraud by deliberately failing to disclose documents to Brian Pead,
to the police, and to the Courts in a trial for alleged Harassment in
Bexleyheath Magistrates’ Court on 01 November 2011 contrary to the Fraud Act
2006.
Fraud by false representation
That
Paul Birch, a company director of Foxberry Garages and Helical Gearboxes in
Brockley, South London, on days between 01 January 2010 and 25 September 2013,
did make false representations and provide false documents to Bexleyheath
Magistrates’ Court, to the police and to Social Services in relation to Brian
Pead, contrary to the Fraud Act 2006.
Perjury
That Paul BIRCH, having been lawfully sworn as a
witness in a judicial proceeding, namely the trial of Brian Pead at Bexley
Magistrates’ Court, wilfully made a number of statements material in that
proceeding which he knew to be false, contrary to s1(1) of the Perjury Act
1911.
